Penggemar berat Radiohead, sudah download aplikasinya mereka belum? Radiohead PolyFauna!

Sudah sekitar tiga tahun lamanya grup band asal Inggris ini nggak merilis album terbaru mereka, dan ternyata mereka malah merilis aplikasi dengan nama PolyFauna. Front man dari grup band pelantun Fake Plastic Trees ini mengakui bahwa project ini adalah kerjasama band-nya dengan Universal Everything sebuah UK digital arts studio.

Dalam aplikasi yang terinsiprasi dari The King of Limbs recording sessions ini, Thom Yorke juga memberikan statement-nya terkait aplikasi yang bisa diunduh di iOS dan Android,

“We have made an app called PolyFauna.

PolyFauna is an experimental collaboration between us (Radiohead) & Universal Everything, born out of The King of Limbs sessions and using the imagery and the sounds from the song Bloom.

It comes from an interest in early computer life-experiments and the imagined creatures of our subconscious.

Your screen is the window into an evolving world.

Move around to look around.

You can follow the red dot.

You can wear headphones.”

Aplikasi serupa sebelumnya juga pernah dibuat oleh sejumlah musisi seperti MEW dan Björk.
